KVPY Cut Off 2017
Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore decides the minimum marks to be eligible for KVPY scholarship. KVPY cut off 2017 will be officially published along with the result. Students can check the cut off marks online by accessing the official website of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY). The authority will release two cut offs to shortlist candidates for the award of fellowship/scholarship. First cut off will be released after the conduct of aptitude test to select candidates for second stage of selection process i.e. for interview. The final cut off of KVPY 2017 will be released after the completion of both of its phases i.e. aptitude test and interview. The final merit list will be prepared by providing 75% weightage to the aptitude test and 25% weightage to interview.
Cut off will declare separately for different categories and streams of KVPY. The cut off marks will be different for General category and the SC/ST/PwD categories. Various facility will be considered for deciding cut off marks such as number of students appeared, seats availability and difficulty level of question paper.

KVPY Cut off 2017: Keynotes
- KVPY 2017 Cut off is the basis for shortlisting candidates for the interview process.
- The KVPY Cut off is calculated on basis of performance in the aptitude test of KVPY 2017.
- The cut off marks of KVPY 2017 will be based on a number of factors including maximum marks secured by a candidate, minimum marks secured by a candidate and last years’ cut off marks.
- Further, the KVPY cut off for each of the categories for every stream will be announced by IISc Bangalore.
- KVPY 2017 Cut off for each of the streams will be announced out of maximum of 100 marks.

Once IISc Bangalore has announced cut off for KVPY 2017, the interview will be scheduled for each of the respective streams.
KVPY Cut off 2017: Result and Merit List
IISc Bangalore will announce KVPY results in November along with the declaration of KVPY cut off 2017. Following the results of KVPY 2017, candidates will be informed about their interview dates, time and venue. Further, it should be noted that IISc Bangalore will not entertain any request regarding re-evaluation of KVPY 2017 result.
